with christmas right arroung the corner time to take inventory on your muzzleloader to see if there is anything santa might have to bring ya for in your stocking.  muzzleloader season is my 3rd favorite thing to do. archery and bass fishing are neck an neck and then almighty smoke pole. i have 2 tags left and hopefully i can fill my buck tag.

Think I am just gonna take the Drenalin this year.  I'm not really looking to put another one in the freezer, but if I have the chance with the bow, I may consider it.

Can't disagree with ya treestand on the uncertainty of it firing, but I have never taken a deer in the late season with a bow and would like to do so.  The weather cold make it difficult though, may be a little cold to be sitting in a treestand.

I shot a big doe this evening with the flint lock! I seen about 15 deer today only hunting the afternoon, the snow was getting crunchy it was hard to sneak up on them we need about a good 6 inches of powder!
