Alot of bear around.  Saw one about a week ago while we were whistle pig hunting.  My Dad had one raid his garbage also.  Got to give the bear credit he was pretty neat in his heist.  Didn't tear it up just pulled out the bags, checked them out one by one, decided there wasn't anything he was hungry for and was on his way.  I know this because he said he watched him out the back door. Should be a good bear season if the weather cooperates.  Anyone going to try with their bows?

ill see how my archery deer season goes. if im lucky enough to tag out early i may put aa stand up to try and get this guy.

I've seen a few around too, I'll be giving it a try with my bow...and you guys know I'll be there for rifle season...even if I get one with my bow...I love bear season
