Wildlife Game Masters

the boy and i are going to go to lake kyle on monday morning he said he wants to catch a pike. when he got up this morning he came over and woke me up to tell me to go put the batteries on the chargers so we can go fishing in the morning. you got to love the excitement in the little guy. ill post some pictures of the trip we are hopeing to be on the water before seven if anyone wants to come join us, bring your boat and we can have some fun fishing together. it will be my first time on that lake.

I just fished kyle lake friday, between the 2 of use we caught around 25 bass. I seen a real nice bass in there but we caught some around 14 15 inches and a lot of pretty little ones. I caught most of my fish on a baby brush hog i beleive it watermelon color. I would come join you but my troling motor broke friday, it was pretty old. I also seen some nice channel cats in there. the boy wanted to go over so he can maybe catch a pike. glad to here they are biting. hope you get that trolling motot fixed soon.

I never caught a pike out of there but i know people have. I have a buddie that watched a guy catch a 39 inch pike out of there. I have a new motor on the way it should be here this week.

luke and i made it over to kyle lake we caught arround 20 bass and 1 pike. nothing big but we had fun for all the longer we were over , arround 4 hours but he was ready to go after 1 1/2 but he started hitting the food and it was all good for a little while longer. He thought the pike was neet but he would not touch it. here are some pictures of the morning.

ok catch a biggin or 2

Had a good time on kyle this evening we caught 24 or 25 bass again and 3 pike ill post some pictures. I never caught a pike in there till tonight  and i caught 2 and my buddie caught one

looks like you caught them in that weed bed just out from the launch thats were we caught most of ours. its been a few days and im ready to go fishing again but probably will not make it back out till 26th and 27th when ill be fishing regionals up at erie bay. nice fish by the way i like that lake but i need to fish it a little more to find the biggins. ill let you know when im heading back up.

we caught it the top end at the point in the y. i might be going back out there tomorrow ill let you know if we do.

Stupid Question: Where in the heck is Kyle Lake????

The latest edition of North American Whitetail has an article about a hunter shooting a BOONE & CROCKETT buck the first day of the 2009 archery season at Kyle Lake. Shot it on public land that the Fish Commission owns. Interesting article.  

By chance, is it the lake that can be seen from I-80 just before the first DuBois exit?????

kylee lake is on the left hand side of 80 just before you get to the first dubois exit.

he shot it with a crossbow i seen pictures of it. i fished kyle again caught 17 all together i had a real nice one on but diddnt land him
