I'm going to have my bow restrung soon, should I keep it set up for aluminum arrows or switch to carbon or even composite? What do you guys recomend? And if I switch it over what all will I have to change? I figured just the rest but I don't know.

Carbon all the way. Turkey pres. Carbon Express maxim's are top notch. Stay away from low end Gold Tips they are made in Mexico now and are poorly spined. Depends on what type of rest you use.

I see Easton makes some kind of carbon or composite, I've always used Eastons, are they OK or should I go with a more traditional carbon company.

Shoot carbons and you will be happier with your set-up and may even be more impressed/confident in your own shooting ability. I shot Eastons for years but recently changed over to Victory arrows with Blazer vanes. A great combo for todays bowhunter. NWTF, you might not have to change anything at all. I have lots of shop/tuning experience. If you need any help let me know. No cost, just here to help.

i allways shot aluminum arrows till about 4 years ago. one of the plus's of the carbon is the durability. when you shot with others during the off season your carbons dont get banged up as much as the aluminum nad dont bend when they get pulled out. but they do explode if you hit a tree dead on.
